brytni thomas's story

I currently live in Pittsburgh, PA. Last year I had the privilege of attending Victory Church. For about 5 months I lived in Colorado and faithfully attended. I started coming around the time that Pastor Matt was teaching the Skandalon series. Matt had a different way of explaining Gods love for us, and I loved it. I got saved at Victory; I grew up in a Pentecostal Church, but I never understood God the way I did until I started coming to Victory. I moved back to PA and started working as a car salesman. On August 25th, 2017 after I moved back from Colorado, I fell out of a 3rd story window onto a drive way. I had a burst compact fracture in my L2 and a broken tailbone. I ended up getting a spinal fusion. When I tell people this story they normally feel bad for me, but I always smile. I smile because I can share my testimony! I get to tell them how faithful God is! I was able to go back to work after 6 weeks, and my physical therapist told me she’s never seen someone heal so fast!! I can walk! I can dance! I’m alive. Our God is awesome. I used to listen to Earl Nightingale “The Strangest Secret” to get me pumped up to start my day. My grandma Sherri introduced me to the church’s app and it is Victory Denver every morning! I am ready to take on every day after I listen to the sermons. I still haven’t found a church with as much love, fellowship, and eagerness to reach people as Victory. God has completely transformed me and made me new. Victory Denver has played a huge role in my salvation and understanding what it means to have a relationship with Jesus.
