On Saturday, August 6 at 9AM our Victory Church family will be mobilized to Love Our City through an amazing event called Serve Day. This will be an incredible day where, through simple acts of selfless love, we can open hearts to Jesus and make a difference in the world!
All ages are welcome to participate in reaching the Denver area where we are believing for significant impact as we serve our local community and share the love of God through practical acts of kindness.
SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

BROOMFIELD FISH FOOD BANK
We will be assembling birthday kits to distribute to families in need through the Boomfield Fish Food Bank! The kits will be assembled at the church on Serve Day and then delivered to Broomfield Fish the following week. The birthday kits will be made up of items collected on Sundays here at Victory and will include a boxed cake mix, frosting, candles and balloons. Broomfield Fish gives out the birthday kits to families each month who have an upcoming birthday in the family – they are a big hit with their families.

URBAN OUTREACH
Urban Outreach Denver is a nonprofit downtown that seeks to care for both short-term and long-term needs in Denver’s inner city. They work to feed thousands both physically and spiritually! Pastor Isaac Olivarez, one of Victory’s missionary partners, is needing some help cleaning up their storage rooms and the organizing the stage they use for their church services. Join us as we serve with Pastor Isaac downtown.

MYCHOICE PREGNANCY CENTER
MyChoice Pregnancy Center educates, supports and empowers women and couples facing unplanned pregnancies with compassionate and professional medical care. One way we can show support to new moms is by providing essential items they will need to be able to bring home their new baby. We will collect items for these new moms on Sundays and then on Serve Day, we will assemble gift bags here at Victory. We will also take some time to hand out flyers in a neighborhood to bring awareness about the services MyChoice offers.

APARTMENT LIFE
Over the past year, Victory has been partnering with Apartment Life to serve the Tuscan Heights apartment complex. Last Christmas we were able to donate over 100 toys for this low income community. Now that we are headed back to school, we will be collecting school supplies and then delivering and distributing the supplies to families in this community. This project will take place at the Tuscan Heights Apartment complex off of Federal and 85th.

VICTORY CHURCH WOOD CHIPS
We have the amazing opportunity every week to bless families in our community by providing great childcare though Victory Montessori. Our playgrounds are in need of some new wood chips to make our playground safe while they are playing. We are needing a few people to help spread out the wood chips.
