FAITH looks at the life story of Abraham through the lens of his faith. Hebrews 11 says Abraham acted “by faith” 3 different times, and more is written in the faith chapter about him than any other person in the Bible. Join us this summer as we study the life, character, and faith of someone Romans 4:11 calls the “father of faith.”

Never Finished Faith

Faith

Matthew 17:20 (ESV) if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.

Hebrews 11:2 (NLT) Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.

Never Finished Faith

Genesis 12:9 (ESV) Abram journeyed on, still going

Hebrews 11:8-13 (ESV) By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he went to live in the land of promise … 10 For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God. 11 By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore. 13 These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar.

2 Timothy 4:6-7 (ESV) For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
