Evangelism
2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (ESV) if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.
Matthew 24:14 (ESV) And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Mark 16:15 (ESV) Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
2 Peter 3:9 (ESV) The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
1. Save sinners
Acts 2:47 (ESV) the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
Luke 5:31-32 (ESV) Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
2. Make winners
Proverbs 11:30 (NKJV) he who wins souls is wise.
2 Timothy 4:5 (ESV) do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Acts 20:24 (NLT) But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
