a note from our senior pastors
MATT & ERICA WARE
For over 30 years, Victory Church has been changing people’s lives locally in the north metro area of Denver and globally through our missions efforts around the world. We’ve always been a church that is called to make an impact for the Kingdom of God. And we believe that now He is calling us to step out and do something bigger than we’ve ever done before!
When this church was planted in 1986, God gave us big vision and big faith to partner with Him in the work He is doing in our great city. And from the very beginning, we believed that Victory’s ministry influence would continue to expand and that God would use us to bring the hope of salvation in Jesus to those who are far from God.
In 2017, God began to speak to me about moving the Kingdom forward in our church with greater urgency and greater intentionality, because there are more people than ever who need Jesus! Victory is called to be a sending church, and I believe we are strategically poised right now to step into that calling and Accelerate the ministry impact we can have in our own community and beyond.
God has put some big things in our hearts for the future. And I believe that if we’re willing to surrender our hearts, lock arms and take that step together as a church, we can make a lasting impact on the spiritual landscape of our area for generations to come!
We believe now is the time to expand our ministry, to advance God’s Kingdom and to Accelerate the vision of Victory Church!
accelerate will empower us to…
live stream our sunday services
This equips us to reach people who may be spiritually searching, but aren’t quite ready to come to a church building yet, while also enabling us to serve the needs of busy families who want to connect to our church but simply aren’t able to be here every week. Live streaming gives us the opportunity to reach people that traditional church methods never could! Live streaming requires significant updates to the technology in our facility, including our audio, video, lighting and camera systems, as well as creating modern production infrastructure that allows us to expand our ministry into other locations. We’ll also update other aspects of our auditorium to present a relevant experience for people engaging our church for the first time—whether in person or online.
launch victory church campuses in other parts of the denver metro area
The greatest way to reach new people for Jesus is by planting new churches and launching new campuses. And as Colorado continues to grow, we can see God using us to open church locations in key communities on the Front Range, as well as other parts of our state and even further into the Mountain West region. There are so many people here who need life through Jesus Christ, and we believe that we are being sent to bring the gospel to them! Pastor Matt has had a vision for launching new campuses for some time, and this summer God confirmed His desire for Victory to move this direction by speaking to him through Isaiah 54:2-3: “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities.”
update our kids space and ministry environments
Every Sunday, we host over 200 children from birth through 5th grade, and we want to make it a more inviting experience for the families of our church and community! To accommodate growth, we will remodel the current downstairs spaces to create a more engaging environment for our preschool children. We’ll also renovate some of our upstairs spaces to make more room for elementary students. In addition to needed updates to our signage and auditorium we are most excited to visually incorporate a global missions focus in our kids and student spaces so the next generation of our church can begin capturing God’s heart for the nations and play an even greater role in Victory’s vision to reach the world for Jesus!
